If you take a geeky young Nigerian Girl to Hollywood, what do you expect to happen? Well You expect her to geek out of course; and that is exactly what I did.

Over the Summer(July 2015) the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) partnered with the relativity media school ( special shout out to Stephen who held us down during our month long stay!) to give 20 Nigerian filmmakers (from actors to editors) the opportunity to network and learn in California for over a month. And when I say network, I mean I had a good conversation with Damon Wayans on a one-on-one level.
Before the workshop in we a couple of weeks exploring Los Angeles Of the many outings, a trip to the warner Bros studio was an absolute must, and This little african girl was super excited to go touring!
Threw a little 4th of July BBQ at the crib for which I got all dressed up...
I also got to hang with my cousin Somi(he's a 4th of July Baby) and what can I say, you can take the Nigerian out of Naija but....
